CIVA, IN PERU, ACQUIRES NEW MARCOPOLO PARADISO G8 1350 BUSES
Traditional customer, Peruvian operator expands fleet with Generation 8 vehicles
The CIVA Group, one of Peru's leading passenger transport operators, has incorporated into its fleet five new Marcopolo Paradiso 1350 Generation 8 buses. The vehicles, sold through the Mercobus representative, will be used in road transport, on lines between the capital city of Lima and cities in the interior of the country.
“CIVA is a traditional customer and has a fleet predominantly of Marcopolo models. This new supply reinforces the close partnership between the companies and the success that all Generation 8 models have achieved abroad”, says Guilherme Schimidt Neto, commercial operations consultant responsible for the Peruvian market.
The five Paradiso 1350s have Scania K440 chassis, a total length of 15 meters and capacity for 52 passengers in semi-sleeper seats, all with USB sockets and three-point retractable seatbelts. The vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and audio and video systems with a DVD player and monitors. They also have a total separation wall, curtains and electronic destination sign.
CIVA has been active for more than 50 years and has been a Marcopolo customer for more than 30 years and in November 2021, it acquired the 450 thousandth bus from the Brazilian manufacturer, a Paradiso G8 1800 Double Decker. With a fleet of more than 300 buses, it operates throughout the Peruvian territory and is considered an innovative company committed to providing quality, safe and comfortable service.
