Performance was driven by strong export growth and record results from international operations

Marcopolo announced today the record results of 2025, completing four years of continuous evolution. The company achieved consolidated net revenue of R$ 9.06 billion, an increase of 5.4% compared to the previous year, and a net profit of R$ 1.23 billion. Performance was driven by strong export growth and record results from international operations.

Revenue from international markets was the standout aspect of the year. Exports from Brazil grew 31.1%, totaling R$ 1.14 billion, while revenue from overseas manufacturing units increased 32.3%, reaching R$ 2.96 billion. Together, international businesses accounted for 45.4% of Marcopolo's total net revenue, a significant increase over the 36.3% recorded in 2024.

Consolidated production in 2025 totaled 15,024 units, a figure very close to the 15,289 units produced in 2024, reflecting a stabilization in the domestic market, which was offset by growth in international markets. The company maintained its leadership in the Brazilian market.

Reflecting its strategy of innovation and global expansion, the company achieved significant milestones in 2025, including the launch of new models at Busworld, the leading industry trade show in Europe, and progress in local production of G8 buses at its factories in South Africa, China, and Mexico. The period also marked Marcopolo Rail’s first export, with the delivery of three train sets to Chile.

4Q25 Results

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Marcopolo posted consistent results, sustaining the year-end delivery pace. Consolidated net revenue reached R$ 2.57 billion, in line with the same period of the previous year. Production for the quarter totaled 3,803 units. EBITDA totaled R$ 426 million, with a margin of 16.6%, and net profit reached R$ 341.7 million.

"2025 demonstrated the resilience and soundness of our global strategy. We achieved record results in key operations, such as in Argentina and Australia, which, combined with export growth, were crucial in offsetting the challenges of a domestic market affected by high interest rates. This geographic diversification, combined with a varied product mix, demonstrates our ability to generate value sustainably,” says CFO Pablo Motta.

The company ended the year with a solid financial position. Net financial indebtedness totaled 1,481.2 million as of December 31, 2025. Net financial debt in the industrial segment stood at 0.2 times the EBITDA of the last 12 months.

Outlook for 2026

For 2026, Marcopolo projects a gradual recovery in the Brazilian market starting in the second half of the year, driven by expectations of lower interest rates. The company sees opportunities in the renewal of urban bus fleets, where it expects to increase deliveries of vehicles with alternative propulsion, as well as in the microbus segment, supported by ongoing government programs such as Caminho da Escola [government school bus program] and deliveries for the Ministry of Health.

International operations continue to be a strategic pillar, with a strong order backlog in Australia, highlighted by a significant volume of electric buses. The company will continue investing in innovation, including model certifications for the European market, increased microbus deliveries to North America, and the consolidation of its presence in new segments, such as rail transportation.
