MARCOPOLO SUPPLIES 10 GRAND EXECUTIVE MINIBUSES FOR CHARTER SERVICES IN CHICAGO

This is the largest sale of this model to a single customer in the United States

Infinity Transportation Management, one of the most innovative and fastest growing transportation companies in the Midwestern United States, acquired 10 new Marcopolo Grand Executive minibuses. The sale was brokered by Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, a commercial partner of Marcopolo and responsible for distribution and technical assistance in the country. This is the largest delivery of the model to a single customer since its launch.

With a capacity of 32 passengers and mounted on the Ford F59 chassis, the Grand Executive minibus stands out in the transportation of the Chicago region for being one of the few in the charter market equipped with gasoline engine.

The new vehicles represent the introduction of medium-sized gasoline-powered models in the region's charter sector, reducing the environmental impact compared to diesel engines and DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) systems, as well as providing cleaner, quieter and more efficient journeys. The 10 Grand Executive minibuses will be used in executive charter operations in Chicago and the region.

Switching to gasoline engines significantly reduces downtime, maintenance costs and emissions, while providing our customers with a smoother and more comfortable experience. “This is the future of mid-sized group travel,” Dogan adds.

The 10 Grand Executive minibuses are 10,135 mm long, 2,985 mm full width (with mirrors) and 3,115 mm maximum external height.

The vehicles are equipped with semi-reclining seats, USB-C and USB-A outlets, four monitors, surveillance cameras, air-conditioning systems, parking sensors, and monitoring systems, and are the only ones in their category on the market with a luggage compartment and seating capacity for 32 passengers.
