VOLARE EXPORTS 42 MINIBUSES TO BUSES HUALPÉN, IN CHILE

The vehicles feature a special configuration designed to withstand the harsh conditions of mining operations


Volare, a leading Brazilian manufacturer of minibuses, the company finalized the export of 42 vehicles of the Fly 9 and Attack 8 4x4 models to Empresa De Buses Hualpén in Chile. The microbuses were designed with special configurations to operate in mining environments, which are characterized by extremely harsh conditions.


“Volare has expanded its presence in the Chilean market year after year, especially in the supply of robust vehicles for heavy-duty applications such as mining. This reinforces our commitment to developing tailor-made solutions for each customer, ensuring efficiency and optimized return on investment,” says José Luiz Moraes Goes, Director of International and Foreign Market Commercial Operations.


Mining vehicles: robustness and technology


The 16 Volare Attack 8 4x4 units, already delivered by the representative Mundo Buses, measure 6,785 mm in length and have seating for 18 passengers in Executive seats, equipped with USB outlets, cup holders, and three-point seat belts. They comply with the ECE R66.02 standard, which ensures greater structural strength and passenger protection in the event of a rollover.


Among the advantages, the following stand out:


• Air conditioning, total separation wall, curtains and electronic destination sign;

• Luggage compartment and overhead luggage rack;

• Reinforced suspension and robust transmission system with 4x2, traditional 4x4 and reduced 4x4 traction options;

• Special wheels and tires for off-road terrain;

• ABS/EBD brakes and additional protections for the oil pan, fuel tank, and electrical harnesses.


The model also features a raised side skirt, unique approach and departure angles, a snorkel for driving in flooded areas, the battery and spare tire in the rear luggage compartment, as well as special signaling with a mount for a height-indicator pole.


Comfort and safety for passenger transport


The 26 Volare Fly 9 units, to be delivered throughout 2026, have seating for 31 passengers in reclining seats equipped with USB outlets. Vehicles offer:


• Hot and cold air conditioning system, with reinforced heating for extreme temperatures;

• Full separation wall, curtains, electronic destination sign and luggage compartment;

• Front and rear fog lights.
